Where does the interview take place?
Usually in the person’s home or a quiet space they’re comfortable in. We’ll work with the family to make sure it feels relaxed and natural.
How long is the interview?
Each session is one hour. More time can be added for $1,000 per hour.
How long does filming take?
We recommend families budget approximately 3 hours total—1 hour for setup, 1 hour for the interview, and 1 hour for breakdown and wrap-up. The process is relaxed and respectful of the individual's pace.
What if they’re uncomfortable on camera?
That’s very common. We take a calm, gentle approach. Most people ease into the conversation within a few minutes and forget the camera is even there.
What kind of questions are asked?
We guide them through meaningful reflections—childhood, life lessons, love, family, values. It’s structured but conversational.
Can the family review the video?
Yes—we include one round of light revisions. This ensures names, details, and tone all feel right.
Can we include more than one person?
The standard package is designed for one person. If a second individual wants their own video, we can add that as a separate package.
Where does the final video live?
We create a private memorial webpage that your family can access and share. Hosting is included for the first year. After that, continued access is available for just $35/year. This keeps the video viewable on a clean, private page—free of ads and distractions.
You’ll also receive a downloadable copy of the video that can be saved an unlimited number of times, so every family member can keep it on their phone, computer, or hard drive.
When will the final video be ready?
Standard turnaround is 3–4 weeks. We also offer expedited delivery (under 2 weeks) for an additional fee
